Molly Burmeister, MA, is a sport and exercise psychology consultant who helps athletes develop the mental skills to perform with confidence. She also helps them navigate challenges and thrive both in sport and beyond. She earned her master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In addition, she brings extensive applied experience from her work with athletes across youth, club, high school, and collegiate levels.
Molly collaborates directly with athletes to strengthen confidence, sharpen focus, manage competitive stress, enhance motivation, and perform effectively under pressure. She creates a supportive environment where athletes can openly explore their experiences. At the same time, they build practical, evidence-based mental performance strategies for training, competition, and everyday life. Through her warm, individualized approach, she tailors her work to recognize each athlete’s unique strengths, goals, and personal experiences.
Her core areas of focus include mental performance, competitive stress, confidence, motivation, custom performance routines, effective responses to setbacks, and major athletic transitions. She focuses her work specifically on mental performance rather than clinical mental health treatment. Furthermore, she actively collaborates with licensed mental health professionals whenever athletes require additional clinical support to ensure they receive complete care.
