About Beryl

Beryl Carland is a Certified Yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga for over 30 years. Beryl was trained in the ‘Birthplace of Yoga’ Rishikesh, India and has experience as a yoga instructor in France, Thailand, Argentina, and the United States.

Physical Practice

Yoga is a constant communication of your breath and body in order to prep your mind for relaxation.  The yoga classes on non-competitive as you are encouraged to be “as one”, looking into yourself. 

You are healing the moment you make contact with the yoga mat.  This practice is for you, your pace, and what you hope to achieve.  You start where you are and build from there.  

The classes start with simple warm up exercises and poses to begin building the foundation for:

·      Strength in major muscle groups

·      Flexibility in the spine and joints

·      Improving posture for balance

Why Yoga?

Beryl has worked with many students who have noticed differences in their daily energy, significant changes in their posture, a better understanding of how to use breathing techniques to calm the mind, relief in sore muscles, and an overall sense of balance in the mind and body.
