Covid 19 Protocol

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, River Valley will conduct the majority of their therapy and medication management appointments through the use of teletherapy and telepsychiatry platforms for the safety and well-being of our clients and staff. Please contact our front desk to find out if your provider offers in person appointments at this time.

In Person Appointments

River Valley has implemented a drop off policy for our clients. We are working on limiting the amount of people who enter the clinic to those only who are essential to medication management and therapy appointments.  If you have a schedule in person appointment or are bringing a client to their appointment, please remain in your vehicle or outside the clinic. The provider will allow the client access into the clinic at the time of their appointment.

Prior to having an in person appointment, all clients must sign a COVID Consent Form. This form will be sent to you via email by our administrative team when you schedule your appointment. For more information, please call 952-746-7664.

Face Mask Requirement

The CDC is now recommending all staff, patients, and visitors cover their faces in health care facilities. To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are requiring all patients to bring (and wear) a face covering (such as a protective mask or cloth face covering) to their upcoming appointments. Masks or cloth face coverings must be worn over your mouth and nose for the duration of your appointment. Members of your care team will also wear masks to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. If you don’t have access to a face covering, the CDC website at has guidelines on making no-sew, cloth face coverings.

If you are a client and are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, we ask you to please not enter the facility and call our front desk at 952-746-7664 to cancel and reschedule your appointment. 


If you are a current client and your provider offers telehealth, please go here here to schedule a future appointment. If you don't know if they provide telehealth, call our administrative team. They will be able to let you know if your provider offers in person appointments at this time or telehealth only. If telehealth is not an option for you, we encourage to reschedule your appointment for a later date or work with your provider on whether it is vital to attend the session at the clinic.

Late Cancellations and no shows for telehealth appointments will be charged the $100 if not cancelled within 24 hours. Since there is no support staff on Saturdays at this time, Monday appointments need to be cancelled by Fridays at 5pm.
